Why You Should Attend This Summit:
Amid an era of strategic competition characterized by a plethora of threats to aerial vehicles, the Department of Defense continues to prioritize readiness in the air domain by utilizing aircraft survivability equipment. The aircraft survivability equipment market is estimated to reach $4.91 billion in the U.S. by 2030. Increasing an aircraft’s ability to avoid, withstand, and recover from anti-aircraft missiles, attacks from aircraft, or ground-based threats is critical for the Military Services as they work to dominate the multi-domain battlefield. The 2024 Joint Air Survivability Summit will focus on how DoD is leveraging innovative technologies and capabilities to enhance the survivability of aerial platforms and safety of aircrews in hostile environments.
This year’s forum will convene DoD, Military Services, Industry, & Academia to examine how to improve and upgrade aircraft survivability equipment and related threat management solutions. As legacy systems become ineffective against modern threats, the services are working to upgrade aerial platforms with advanced multi-threat protection capabilities. The event will also feature a panel highlighting the Launched Effects program and how it will support the Army enterprise in the future operating environment. Attendees at the Joint Air Survivability Summit will have the unique opportunity to discuss and ask questions to key decision makers, subject experts, and solution providers to ensure aircraft lethality and survivability in future combat operations.
DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summit’s content and focus areas. We will assemble the most respected minds in the joint air survivability community, including operational leaders, key policymakers, industry, and academia. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
